BETT 2016

Anybody thinking of attending BETT for a day-trip can avail of a very good deal from Cork (kindly suggested by Donal O' Reilly, DP in Killorglin).


Who can attend BETT and what is it?
If you’re a Learning and Training Professional, come to Bett to discover how technology can improve and enhance learning, from school to Higher Education and workplace learning.
Schools: Visitors can find products and resources for use in the classroom and for the efficient management of the school
Higher Education: Visitors can find products and resources for use in lecture theatres, the library, for distance learning and for the efficient management of the University. In addition, the Technology in Higher Education conference will cover improving teaching, learning, student engagement and operational efficiency in Higher Education.
Businesses: HR and Learning Development professionals find products and services to help improve learning in the workplace. In addition, visitors from this sector can attend the Workplace Learning conference to learn how top organisations are building world-class employee learning cultures.
Students: An environment for students to interact with technology solutions with their education establishment.
2.    How can I register for the show?
Registration for Bett is free of charge if you register in advance. Please click here to register for your ticket.
3.    How can I register a group?
To register a group of 8 or more for the show, please contact visitor.help@i2iassist.com and request to have the form sent to you. Please then complete this ensuring that all information is correctly completed to enable us to complete the registration process for each visitor. Please then send the form back to visitor.help@i2iassist.com.
4.    I am a student, am I able to attend the show?
Students of Undergraduate level and above (individuals and groups) on relevant courses of study are welcome to attend on the last day of the show but will not be permitted to trade. Students will be asked to show an NUS identity card or equivalent student identity. All students will be required to register for the event via the normal registration process here.
5.    Is the show free to attend?
Entry is free to all trade visitors who register online prior to the show (or those looking to start a new business in the next 12 months).  
6.    Can I register when on arrival to the show?
Yes, you may register upon arrival at the show, please go to the registration desks to do so.
7.    When will I receive my Entry badge?
Post: If you have opted to have your entry badge posted out to you, your entry badge will arrive within the two week run up to the show open. However, if you do not receive your entry badge by post you can still print your e-ticket which you will receive attached to your confirmation email once you have registered to attend the show.
Email: If you opted to go green you can print your e-badge at the end of registration or from the confirmation email once registration is complete. If you are unable to print your badge, don’t worry – just show us this confirmation email on your mobile device.
8.    Can I edit my registration details?
If you wish to edit your registration details, please go to your confirmation email and click on the option ‘edit your details’. This will then open up a new window allowing you to change your details.
NB: The option of having your entry badge posted cannot be changed in the 2 week run up to the show open days as badges will have already been posted.
9.    Is attendance to the show date specific? Can I attend on more than one day?
Attendance to the show is free on any day and not date specific. If you wish to attend on more than one day, please keep hold of your entry badge.
10.    Where does my visitor e-badge/entry badge allow me access to?
Your entry badge allows you access to the whole show unless stated otherwise. For example, if your entry badges state ‘Press’ you will have access to the show Press Lounge.
11.    What if I have forgotten my e-badge/entry badge when I arrive at the show?
Registration staff at the main registration desks will be able to find you by company name/surname on our data base to print your entry badge. If you can, please provide proof of company name via business card or confirmation email.
12.    Can I bring children?
We advise that children under 16 do not attend the event as this is a large trade only event and there are no children/crèche facilities within the venue. Children attending the event must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
Upon arrival at the show, a Childs entry pass will be required for all those under the age of 16. This is to be collected from the registration desks in the main entrance. Anyone over the age of 16 will be required to register for the event via the normal registration process.
There is a crèche facility a short walk from ExCeL (Custom House side of the venue, across from the ibis hotel). Busy Bees provides a safe, clean and contemporary environment for 100 children aged 3 months to 5 years.
