NAPD Learning & Teaching Workshops conducted by Graham Powell and Mike Hughes in the last academic year engaged over 250 teachers from almost 60 schools with ideas on creating more effective learning experiences in our classrooms.
In the current school year, NAPD will offer workshops for new and continuing participants in four different strands.

Genevieve Murray is the principal consultant at Stuaim.com. She has researched the topic of workplace conflict/bullying for over ten years.  She has presented at conferences both nationally and internationally and has published in national journals and books.  She is a regular contributor to both print and radio media on the topic.

Welcome Networking Meeting & Meal for newly appointed Principals and Deputy Principals

A brief networking meeting and meal has been organised for Wednesday, 14 September at 5.30 pm in the Woodlands House Hotel, Adare.
Members from the NAPD Region 6 Steering Committee will be delighted to meet you on the evening and to introduce you to the benefits of this excellent Association.  We have arranged the event at this time as we appreciate that newly appointed leaders can sometimes feel that they cannot or should not leave the school during the day.  This is the day of the Junior Certificate results and we feel that it is a good opportunity to facilitate you.
