Well-being Session – Anthony O’ Shaughnessy (HumourFit)
Anthony O’ Shaughnessy (http://www.raphacottage.com), through his company Rapha Cottage offers a number of programmes on-site or on an outreach basis. Programmes are of particular interest to schools, but for us, Anthony is going to focus on well-being and our own mindfulness and how we can ensure that we look after ourselves so that we can look after those in our school community.  He will touch on the following in particular:


·         Developing healthy relationships
·         The importance of listening

One Hour Class Timetabling & Junior Cycle  
Mr. Alan Mongey, Principal of Clare Galway Community College and former DES Inspector will share his experience of this school’s adoption of One Hour Class timetable and the opportunities and challenges such a configuration can have for students, teachers and school leaders.  This session will afford an opportunity for discussion, break-out sessions for similar sized schools and conclude with reflections and a Q&A session.

Centre for School Leadership
Mary Nihill and Máire Ní Bhróithre from the newly established Centre for School Leadership will update Members on the establishment and development of this essential support service for school leaders.

12.00 pm – 12.45 pm                                           
Discussion with Clive Byrne, NAPD Director

Light lunch
